JCDC AND COVID-19
At JCDC we’re always looking out for the people we support and our colleagues. The safety and welfare of our employees, our clients and the communities we serve is a top priority and like you, we’re continuing to monitor the latest news and updates about the coronavirus.
It seems as though every day brings new developments and instructions from the CDC, as well as new direction from the State on how we provide support services through the IDD Waiver program. Our team is committed to help you in any way we can.
First, we are up-to-date with the latest “Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers” and health precautions by the CDC. We have and will continue to “err on the side of precaution” in order to support the fight against this pandemic.
Second, we will share as much as possible that could affect you and your loved ones through either our support systems or to our employees.
For additional information about COVID-19 visit the Centers for Disease Control at cdc.gov.
"PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ARE NOT DEFINED BY THEIR DISABILITY. THEY’RE DEFINED BY THE SAME THINGS THAT WE ARE. WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT THE BIG PICTURE, WE ALL WANT TO HAVE PURPOSE. AND I CAN’T THINK OF A BETTER PURPOSE THAN GIVING SOMEONE THE OPPORTUNITY TO FIND THEIRS."
